Re: How can I avoid a blank page (blank tab) when I closethe last ta b?

Maybe what he was talking about was when you get down to that last tab 
open on a window and then hit Ctrl-W once more for the final tab it does 
not close the window then just the last tab then leave a blank tab.  I 
also wondered why when you closed the final tab it didn't just close the 
window also.  Isn't that the way it worked long ago?  I do admit that 
it's easy to just hit Ctrl-W twice or Shirt-Ctrl-W if need be.
