By "external link redirecting", do you mean clicking a link in 
another program and that opening in a new tab in Moz?

If so, do you have the following settings ticked:
Prefs -> Multizilla -> links -> External Links
Prefs -> Multizilla -> links -> External Programs

(also try toggling those prefs, ie, reverse them, hit okay, and 
then put them back to what they were -- sometimes that can get 
out of sync).

In about:config, the pref "advanced.system.supportDDEExec" should 
be set to false (boolean value).
