Me too. There was talk some years ago about MZ for Firefox (I think
donators were to be given early access to the FF version in that
plan?) and then when SM2 came on the scene it was going to make the FF
implementation easier since SM and FF would be on the same level when
it came to add-ons. But it seems real life gets in the way, as usually
happens on small projects (or small/one-man teams).

MZ is the main reason I'm still using Seamonkey instead of Firefox.  I
don't use SM for mail or nows, just for browsing. Firefox renders
better and faster (though SM starts up faster), and the real advantage
to FF is the number of add-ons. Right now I am still of the opinion
that MultiZilla on Seamonkey is better than every add-on in Firefox...
but it's getting close, and as SM 1.x reaches end of life it's going
to be more difficult to hang on as newer, better, cooler things are
happening in SM2/Firefox land.

If it's really the end of the line for Multizilla as we know it, then
I'd like to say thanks to HJ and everyone else involved over the past
~10 years for making my web-browsing experience easier, safer and more
enjoyable.
