There is a need to make it pretty clear if people are on the most-current Firefox release, beta or Aurora, which are supported and secure, or on *anything else*, which is not supported and not secure. A version number does not matter at all there, "current" and "release/beta/aurora" (or "nightly" which is bleeding edge development and never completely supported or tested) is all that matters.
