No, he does not mean that. You and the handfull of people left on 
Windows 98, PPC macs, Pre-SSE2 Pentiums, mac OS 10.4 and below, 
libstdc++ 4.2 and below, GTK+ 2.0 or below, etc., etc., users are 
unsupported and Mozilla will not be pushing your Firefox to update. 
You're on your own because we cannot afford to support all platforms 
indefinitely.

What Robert was talking about was something like making Firefox 6 or 
newer the unprompted update for Firefox 3.6.xx users who are still on 
supported platforms.
