We blogged about the memory improvements and I presume you are allowed to read blogs. We include the version number in the Troubleshooting page and, unless your network administrator has locked that page down or some extension has broken it in some way, you are allowed to read it there. But being allowed to read something and having Mozilla optimize Firefox's user interface to make that easy for you are not the same thing. - A
