User leaves everything blank, nothing selected 2. User selects "Automtically check for updates" but 3. User leaves [] Firefox - blank, unchecked 4. User selects [x] Ask me what I want to do What happens for #1 if Firefox has a new version in the offing? What happens for #3 if Firefox has a new version in the offing? I know what happens if #2 is selected as this is my choice and #4 selected, I get notified of an update and asked what I want to do. And .. how does any of the above affect the Help => About Firefox => Check for updates button. Seems to be a redundancy of sorts. -- *Jay Garcia - Netscape Champion* www.ufaq.org Netscape - Firefox - SeaMonkey - Thunderbird
