I can explain. Many times making a dvdimage is an iterative
process. Create some mpeg and some menu, author the dvd,
check if the results are what you expect, if not change 
something and redo the authoring.
That means using many times the commands in the bash history.
Now, especially if you are tired and you have done it many times,
when you recall a command,
you will see that has a -o in it, but you want notice if it 
has -o, -O or even -0 in it. It's just a minus followed by a 
circle :-). 

That's the kind of problem it can cause to have options
that are visually very similar, but do 'non recoverable'
actions like deleting files.
