I have revised the different ways you can specify the output directory
into which dvdauthor writes the DVD-Video files. Previously they were,
in order of decreasing priority:
* the “dest” attribute on the <dvdauthor> tag in the XML file
* the -o option on the command line
* a line beginning “WORKDIR=” in the file ~/.dvdauthorrc
* a line beginning “WORKDIR=” in the file /etc/dvdauthor.conf
The latter two config files served no other purpose, so I have got rid
of them, and added the option of getting the directory from an
environment variable called OUTPUTDIR. I have also rearranged the
priorities as follows:
* the -o option on the command line
* the value of the OUTPUTDIR environment variable
* the “dest” attribute on the <dvdauthor> tag in the XML file
That way the option that is easiest for the user to change has the
highest priority.
