I don't use DL disks myself frequently but as I support Bombono DVD I need to answer about the problem. :) If one doesn't set LB explicitly with -use-force-luke=break:XXXX then growisofs make it itself, just in the middle (so it is not guaranteed LB is at a cell' border and that cell is not seamless; or maybe it is not actual for modern players?).
