Another note on this minor issue here, I would have liked to say there should 
be a command line switch specifying ntsc/pal, but since it's a non-exit status 
warning and the dvd file structure is still created.. ... likely the reason why 
there is no switch for ntsc/pal.

Using a command line switch would be much cleaner instead of relying on 
/etc/video_format, $HOME/.config/video_format or variable definition.  Other 
then that, most probably use a XML file as they're doing feature rich DVD's 
unlike us wimpy once-in-awhile users.
