hello,
I'm using dvdunauthor for demuxing a DVD so my kids can watch the
different episode of their cartoon on a tablet (I thanks the authors for
the only tool I found for this task when multiple episodes are mixed in
one DVD when opening and ending of each episode are split ...)
Today, it failed with the following trace (I'm using ubuntu 12.04).
The application exit just after extracting too few vobs
$ dvdunauthor /media/TSAWYER_01_SCN/VIDEO_TS/
DVDAuthor::dvdunauthor, version 0.7.0.

No VTS_TMAPT available - skipping.
I grab the latest source code dvdauthor-0.7.1.tar.gz and get a look.
the code exit in dvdunauthor.c, in void getVobs(dvd_reader_t *dvd, const
ifo_handle_t *ifo, int titleset, int titlef)
vobs = DVDOpenFile(dvd, titleset, titlef ? DVD_READ_TITLE_VOBS
: DVD_READ_MENU_VOBS);
if (vobs == NULL)
{
/* error message already output */
exit(1);
} /*if*/
when trying to getVobs() for the 'ifo' which "ifoOpen(dvd, titleset)"
trigger this "No VTS_TMAPT available" message.
Yet, if I change the "exit(1)" to a "return" in this previous getVobs(),
I'm able to read all vobs of the DVD correctly.?
May be getVobs() is not enough tolerant for some errors ?
Regards,
Arnaud
