Shuttercount of Canon G5 X

Dear Gphoto,

Today I discovered your app after a long browsing on how I could figure out
the shutter count of my Canon G5 X. Most apps I found either did not work
with G5 X or were only paid versions.

Some say the following command should give me the result of my number of
shots made, but it gave me an error:

aronboros@MacBook-Pro ~ % *gphoto2 --get-config /main/status/shuttercounter*

> *** Error ***
> /main not found in configuration tree.
> *** Error (-1: 'Unspecified error') ***
> For debugging messages, please use the --debug option.
> Debugging messages may help finding a solution to your problem.

> gphoto2 as follows:

Then I found another article, where the following command was recommended,
which returned me a number back but it's confusing to me for couple of
reasons:

aronboros@MacBook-Pro ~ % *gphoto2 --auto-detect*
> Model                          Port
>
> ----------------------------------------------------------
> Canon PowerShot G5X            usb:020,002
> aronboros@MacBook-Pro ~ %


One of my confusion is coming from the fact that when I tried this same
command earlier today, it gave me "usb:003,002", so it was not consistent.
Either way, I'm pretty sure that I took more pictures than that.

One more thing that might be helpful, i'll attach the "my-logfile". There I
tried to search for the shuttercount word, and found this:

2.397557 gp_context_error            (0): shuttercount not found in
> configuration tree.


Does it mean that gphoto2 cannot read the shutter count information from
the G5 X?
