Hi there,

I have done some experiments with a Canon M 10 attached to a Raspberry pi.
(libgphoto2 2.5.16, gphoto 2.5.15) Just taking shots works just fine,
but I have trouble configuring a shot.

1.) The available options are not consistent depending on how I request them:

gphoto2 --get-config shutterspeed
Label: Belichtungszeit

2.) Im cannot alter configuration settings. Trying to set a parameter
brings the Camera into a broken state.

* when using gphoto2 --set-config the process hangs until I press the
power button of the camera (which itself hangs after that for a moment
until it shuts off).

* Similar when using gphoto2 --shell: I can change the setting (
it is properly reported by a following set-config) but it hangs
on exit then.

3.) I can take preview shots from the shell, but no true shots.
gphoto2 --shell
> capture-image

*** Fehler ***
Canon EOS M Full-Press failed (0x2019: PTP-Device belegt)
FEHLER: Konnte Bild nicht aufnehmen.
FEHLER: Konnte nicht aufnehmen.
*** Fehler (-110: »I/O Operation in Arbeit«) ***

Oddly, when using:

gphoto2 --debug --debug-logfile=capture.log --shell

I was able to shoot one image (timing?) but set-config "killed"
the camera again:

$ gphoto2 --debug --debug-logfile=capture.log --shell
gphoto2: {/home/pi} /> capture-image
Neue Datei ist in /store_00010001/DCIM/102___12/IMG_0248.JPG auf der Kamera
gphoto2: {/home/pi} /> set-config shutterspeed=45
gphoto2: {/home/pi} /> capture-image

Is this a simple bug, or the more fully support for M10 not feasible?

Regards,
  Holger
