Dear technical-support team,

I am a software developer and I have recently tried to capture images
programmatically from two available cameras( Sony Alpha7R IV and Nikon
Coolplex S6000). I could successfully capture and download images from
Nikon Coolplex S6000 camera, but unfortunately, I encountered the "Could
not capture" error message while using "gphoto2 --capture-image-and-download"
command, or any other similar commands, for Sony Alpha7R IV.

Now, I have the following three questions that I would greatly appreciate
it if you could answer them:
1. Is the "Sony Alpha7R IV" camera supported by gphoto2, and in turn by
libgphoto2, or not? If no, what can I do to fix the error and capture
images from this camera?
2. Is that possible for developers to have the source of libgphoto2 and
customize that for their applications? If yes, Is there any instructions
for recompiling it from scratch?
3. Why does it take so long (around 20-30 sec) to capture and download
images from cameras using gphoto2? Are there any solutions to hasten and
improve this process?

Sincerely,
Mohammad Sajad Tabatabaeian
