Fuji XT-5

Hi.

I have a Fujifilm XT-5 camera and also a XT-3. I use some software that uses gPhoto to connect to my camera (Indigo D1). The XT-3 works fine but my XT-5 does not. The software developer says the camera handshake does not complete when trying to connect to the XT-5. The XT-5 is not on the gPhoto list of supported cameras. Will the XT-5 be supported in the future or should the XT-5 work anyway with gPhoto?
