Why does adding ATA:0,1,0 to the rip-line
('-D ATA:0,1,0 %C -x -paranoia -H -t %t -O wav %w')
fail it completely (the usual effect of seemingly 'ripping' very fast 
from track to track, within less one second) ?

Very foggy things going on here.
