Trying to install grip 3.3.0

In an effort to try and resolve my freedb issues, I uninstalled grip 3.2.0
(rpm -e grip-3.2.0-3) and then downloaded the rpm for grip 3.3.0. However
when I try to install I get the following.

# rpm -i grip-3.3.0-1.i386.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
        libcurl.so.2 is needed by grip-3.3.0-1.i386

So after a bit of googling I found the following command that, I guess,
shows you if you have libcurl on your PC.

# ldconfig -p | grep curl
        libcurl.so.3 (libc6) => /usr/lib/libcurl.so.3
        libcurl.so (libc6) => /usr/lib/libcurl.so

I'm assuming this is telling me I have libcurl.so and libcurl.so.3 but no
libcurl.so.2.

I'll continue googling to try and understand what libcurl.so.2 is, why I
need it, and how I can get it installed? Maybe it is as easy coping the
file from another host. If someone can answer these questions easily it
might save me some time.

I appreciate any help you can give.
