FYI, you can also use the command line options.
$ grip --help
...
--config=CONFIG Specify the config file to use (in
your home dir)
--device=DEVICE Specify the cdrom device to use
So you could do:
cp .grip .grip-dev2
grip --config=.grip-dev2
Make gui changes to use second device (will be saved to .grip-dev2)
