id3 tag help

Hi all,

I am using grip 3.2 with lame 3.91 under debian sarge.  With the
following "Encoder Command-line" 
-h -v -b %b %w %m --tt %n --ta %A --tl %d --tn %t --add-id3v2

I get nice mp3 files that have no tag information.  Not only that, but
easytag does not recognize them as being supported audio files.
Nautilus shows the metadata ok.  What am I doing wrong?  I have
experimented with all manner of selections under the ID3 tab with no
affect.
