Proxies and grip

Hi,

I love grip, but am having trouble with the freedb lookup in version 3.2.0 
on Fedora Core 4.  We have an authenticated web proxy, but despite having 
the correct proxy address, port, and entered a username and password, 
hitting DiscDB lookup button results in "Querying freedb.freedb.org for 
disc XXXXX" in the status tab, but it doesn't get any further than that - 
no time outs or anything.

Is there a simple way to diagnose the problem?
