I wish for this feature, too. I rip my cd audiobooks to mp3 (both to preserve my expensive originals and to save space in my vehicle.) So very every one of them has had at least two tracks truncated, which I don't find out until I try to listen to it on the road. :( I'm rather new at it, but what I don't understand is how can my laptop play these audio cds directly, but it can't rip them without making error-induced gaps? For audio books, an occasional crackle or pop in the sound isn't an issue. I'm using the 'grip (cdparanoia)' setting, would a different ripper behave better? -- Joi Ellis [email protected] No matter what we think of Linux versus FreeBSD, etc., the one thing I really like about Linux is that it has Microsoft worried.
