Has anyone gotten Grip working well with Plextor drives? I have a PX-712 and a PX-716, and both seem to cause really annoying problems on FC5. I've upgraded to Kernel 2.6.16, hoping some ATAPI changes would fix the problems, but no luck. Basically, I'm getting 'drive not ready' kernel errors in /var/log/messages. Grip won't exit; even when I kill it the process stays around, and the keyboard sometimes acts like it has a stuck key for a while. It really sounds like kernel/driver problems to me, but cdparanoia and other drive reading programs seem fine. Thoughts?
