k. i wrote a long time ago about having trouble getting GRIP to encode at 192 kbs on FC4. i don't know what's going on ... but i formatted, and put GRIP back on. i have tried all the old solutions from the last email (i kept those) we had written to each other. i'm using LAME with GRIP by the way, from the command line: -h -b %b %m %w standard stock settings. i can use OGG, but i would like to use MP3 to get the songs back to cd's if i destroyed them or lost them. but, hey ... at least OGG works. any help is appreciated! by the way, i've tried deleting the grip-lame files, and most of the other grip files in my user directory. mostly been deleting the grip-lame file and trying to retell it to do what i want. not working. grip version is 3.2.0 from YUM, even though the GRIP page has version 3.3.2 or such. ------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
