grip doesn't rip the whole track

Hi,

I've been using grip for a while and i've had following problem several times:
The ripping process would just stop in the middle of a track and go to the 
next which leaves me sometimes only with a few seconds from a track. I've 
tried different rippers including following: grip(cdparanoia), cdparanoia and 
cdd2wav. I set the rip nice value to -20 and thought that would help but it 
did not really improve. I don't know what's wrong. Help would be really 
appreciated!
