Re: Status tab shows everything worked fine but in reality no files are ripped/encoded.

Thanks Michael, The problem is now fixed. It was the permissions of the /dev/sgX (/dev/sg0 on my system), as you suggested. I changed that and grip works fine. For the record, ls -l /dev/sg0 said crw------- 1 root adm 21, 0 2005-02-26 08:38 /dev/sg0 and I after I did chmod g+rw /dev/sg0 ls -l /dev/sg0 said crw-rw---- 1 root adm 21, 0 2005-02-26 08:38 /dev/sg0 Thanks again for the help.
