Grip takes long time to start on KDE

Hello list,

I am using Kubuntu Feisty and grip 3.3.1. All worked fine. But today, I tri=
ed to start grip and first, it didn=B4t seem to work (without giving any er=
ror message). But after about 4-5 minutes, grip popped up correctly.

When I launch grip from command line, there is no special output:

$ grip
X Error: BadDevice, invalid or uninitialized input device 169

Failed to open device

Can anybody think of a reason?
