Install errors in SuSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10

I downloaded the current STABLE rpm from the Gnome website and, while logged
in as root, attempted to load it on my system.

All went well until the following message appeared:

    DEPENDENCY RESOLUTION FAILED
    There are no installable providers of grip.
    Marking this resolution attempt as invalid.

Am I doing something wrong here?
