Hi, I am running grip 3.2.0 version 17 on FreeBSD 7. I've been using grip for years on FreeBSD, have never had any problems ripping songs from cd's and playing the cd's, great software. Now I can rip songs but cannot play them, am stumped. I've checked the volume on my OS and my speakers. I can use other players to play the same cd from my cd burner (which is /dev/acd1 on my PC) with sound. I've tried different cd's. I've rebuilt grip from the ports collection of FreeBSD, removed the .grip and .grip-lame files, tried running it as root and my normal user. The permissions on /dev/acd1 are crwxrwxrwx 1 root operator 0, 93 Jun 26 23:33 /dev/acd1 Is there a way I can debug grip to see what might be causing the problem?
