Missing executable?

I'm using grip v3.2.0, which came with my installation of OpenSuSE 11.0.
Every time I attempt to rip an audio CD to MP3 format, the following error
message appears:
Invalid encoder executable.
Check your encoder config and ensure it specifies
the full path to the encoder executable.
According to the configuration in grip, the system is looking for a program
called mp3encode. I did a full system-wide file search for this app, but it
doesn't appear to be anywhere on my hard disc.
Is mp3encode a file I can download somewhere, or should it be on my OpenSuSE
distro DVD?
Much thanks in advanced,
