I assume you are using Helix DNA Server 10.x. RTFF is not in the
helix community on that branch. A client build will most likely not
work correctly with your server. You need a plugin built with a
compatible compiler, etc. as the server you are using it with.

Your options are:

* Use a retail Helix Universal Server (which includes rt support);
* Switch to 11.0x DNA server, which will include rtff; or
* Try building the rtff plugin from 11.0 or head branch, using
10.0 build environment.

for details. Basically, you need to use gcc 2.95 with SYSTEM_ID
linux-2.2-libc6-i586-server and profile helix-server-nodist to build
target datatype_text_realtext_fileformat on BIF branch
SERVER_11_0_STABLE, SERVER_11_1, or SERVER_CURRENT.

However, you won't really be able to build it at all until the cvs
server is back up.
