Gregor, you shouldn't need access to the project mentioned below.  If 
the platform that you are developing on is a known platform, then the 
build system will automatically download the binaries for you.  If your 
platform is not currently supported,  you will need access to the source 
code to build the MPEG4 binaries yourself.   You can get access to the 
source by signing Codec Porting and Optimization license
