The Microsoft license is so restrictive that it does not allow you to release your resulting code under the BSD license (which libnjb uses). It must follow that license and is just as "viral" as MS claim GPL to be. You can link BSD code to MS code but the result would be a least common denominatore meaning MS terms apply.
