Re: libnjb udev/hal integration

I have 2.2.5 installed, and I have a nomad.usermap in /etc/hotplug/usb 
but no nomad.rules anywhere.  I went back after you said that udev rules 
are there and I see that they're in the tarball, but they're not getting 
installed.  Should I be filing a bug report with the Gentoo package 
maintainer, or do you think the problem is with the build system?

Anyways, I am willing to work on this, but I won't be able to test it, 
so I'll rely on your guys confirming proper support.  I'll assume they 
can all play MP3 and WMA, and that they cannot record.  Also I won't 
worry about HAL policy files for automounting or the like (if njb 
devices even support mounting, I know MTP ones do not)...at the moment, 
as far as I'm concerned, that can come later.

Glad to hear that if I do this you'll release it as 2.2.6...I don't mind 
doing the work as, frankly, it will be less work for me later if I can 
rely on detection of all devices in HAL, but not if it's for nothing  :-)
