Playing a video file .mkv

Matroska,

I have a video file that I would like to play on Windows. What should
I download in order to play it?

Should I download this one?

Currently the one player with the best matroska menu support, and not
based on DirectShow (if you don't like codec installation on your PC)
and it will play most of your MKVs out of the box.
