External sources for .ogg

Seems like that'd probably be the simplest way...

Sounds as though, at MOST, the only thing .ogg itself would really
need to implement external streams is some sort of definition in the
specifications for "how to define an external stream".  Not sure if
the presence of such a thing is urgent, though, considering SMIL as
already mentioned.  The example given earlier of having a single file
that was a 'pointer' to a number of external episodes of a tv series
sounds a lot like a playlist to me ("show-intro.ogg, episode1.ogg, 
episode2.ogg [...] closingcredits.ogg").

What features are already on the "TODO/BEINGDONE" list for Theora Alpha2?
