Hi!

 Thanks Christian for your informations, I'll give a
closer look at the UCI interface asap.
I do not know (for now) of extra features that would
make Tarkin not usable against a well written codec
interface. I had to check this out thought.

About what Lourens Veen wrote:

then it's better to have the encoding part and
container part separate because those serve different
functionalities. It would be easier to maintain those
parts.
