Hi!

Well, as for now the tarkin project do not contains a
player. It has 2 command line projects that can
compress/decompress PPM image sequences (1 or more
images).
Some of us work on implementing motion-compensation in
the tarkin. I think that only after that we should
test with a player. Until then it is no more than a
"JPEG" coder (well better) but it should be tested
with 1 image at a time.
I have no time to put it better, please ask if you
feel you have to.
I can provide these 2 console projects (in binary
form) if you would like, or you could check out the
sources from the CVS and compile them with VC++ 6.0(SP
whatever).
