No.

Much better. Then to avoid a layer violation, multiplex them all within 
the ogg stream, and include some granule-timing semantics for 
synchronization. It works with Vorbis and Theora, so why not with text? 
If more static metadata is needed, then specify it and code against it. 
Otherwise it's just coding against a given framework, isn't it.
