last comment, cos this just occured to me:

in #quality section - explaining why an arbitrary quality scale is
better than a specific bitrate scale - maybe an analogy would be
usefull. For example"
"nobody talks about kbits/size in jpeg lossy compression - an arbitrary
quality scale is accepted as the best solution."

...or maybe someone should do some kbits/icon graphs of different jpeg
encoders and post the quality results? ;)
