Hello all, I have installed XMMS successfully using : ./configure --prefix=/usr make make install [--prefix=/usr : I don't want something in /usr/local] All went good, Xmms appears on my desktop. The problems are : 1 - I cannot play mp3 (the file doesn't appear in the playlist) ; 2 - In the preferences tabs, there is no plug-in (so i can't play mp3 files) ; 3 - In the preferences tabs, whenever I click on "Ok" or "Apply", xmms crash with a segmentation fault ! (no other information) Xmms-config give me the correct path to the plug-ins directories and there is plug-ins in these directories ! My distro is a LFS (www.LinuxFromScratch.org). Any idea about my problem ? What can I check ? Thank you for all ! P.S.: I can change skins. Xmms appears to be safe until I go to the preferences dialog box. -- Thomas Queste mailto:[email protected]
