disk_writer plugin doesn't apply effects

Hi,

the disk_writer plugin doesn't apply effects. I can clearly hear the 
chosen effect (for example voice removal) when using the OSS output 
driver, but the files created by disk_writer don't have the effects.

Any ideas? My system:

SuSe Linux, 7.x
XMMS version 1.2.7
