Hi all, I was able to compile xmms + the esd output plugin + the mpg123 plugin against Gtk2. It's not fantastic, and it may not be working well "though it's fine here" and it's full of deprecated code. But it's here. I don't know the opinion of the developers. I don't know also shall I register a project @ sf.net or savannah.org to complete the porting. Maybe xmms developers'll host it in their CVS I don't really know. I know one thing: I really need help, It's not that easy as i don't have experience with gtk 1.x, And maybe I'm not the perfect one to do it, But i'll since no one else did. I remember posting something like that in the guestbook and the forum "not sure about the forum". I don't want to post any code to the public until i know exactly what should be done. I know the original developers did a great job, But It seems that they are not thinking about a Gtk 2.x port... Any ideas, hints, suggestions ? What is the opinion of the xmms developers ?
