OK thanks.  I ran it through id3tag and that fixed all the tags.  Sorry to bug you, I'll close that bug.

I don't think that that is a xmms bug. It correctly shows the
information of the ID3-Tag. But in the sample file there is ID3v1-Tag
set correctly and ID3v2 is set with wrong values and if both are set
xmms prefers the v2-Tag.
