playlist management

I've almost got most of a patch ready against part of
http://bugs.xmms.org/show_bug.cgi?id=863 but wondering
what other people's thoughts would be about multiple
playlist windows. Currently I figured it would be
easiest to use check the "allow multiple instances"
and drag and drop files between the two (or more)
instances then save. 

More intuitively I'd say it'd be preferable to do
something like CTRL+N from a single xmms window and
bring up a second playlist window that can be used to
compile a new playlist. Does anyone have any thoughts
on how they'd rather see it done?
