If you allow for open posting, you will always get spam on the list.
Subscriber only postings would fix this but either limit the posting
to subscribers only or require a moderator.

This problem is there on the debian mailing lists, and those have
vastly more traffic.

Anyway, the spam level on this list is manageable although it would be
nice if someone could remove them from the archive.
