Effects not written to Disk Writer?

If I enable a plugin (e.g. Voice Removal Plugin) it works when playing
with ALSA, but if I use the Disk Writer the output is just like the
source.  Is there a way to get the effects written with Disk Writer?

I've got some music as flac and I want to remove the voice.
