Sorry, I probably wasn't expressing myself clearly enough when I said 
deploy individual copies of the ODB files to each user. The ODB file, 
when it does not use the native HSQLDB integrated db, serves only as a 
container for the db connexion configuration data, links to forms, 
queries and reports. This means that if you are using HSQLDB in 
standalone server mode, as mentioned previously, you don't need to worry 
about reconciling data provided that each ODB file remains the same. One 
way to do that is to configure it with all you need, forms, queries and 
the like, then make it read only on the user's local file system.
