You downloaded the extension possibly on VIsta/7 with some IE versions, this 
OS / webbrowser combination has a will to rename all files extensions (for 
example foo.oxt which are a comressed file), to foo.zip.
Simply rename back to foo.oxt and you can install it to OOo.

Avoid this use Firefox for downloading extensions, this is much faster method.
