No sound does not work. For 1.1.x the sound worked only when using 
Xfree or X.org so this is kind of a known limitation. But I agree 
with you that we have to get sound working for the 2.0 final - if 
possible. Eric Bachard is working on it. 

Yes. All the wizards work. The problem is that we need to make them 
work when using one of the start scripts. 

For Base. I don't know. As far as I could do limited testing and I 
have a need for a database modul I found no significant bugs in it. 
But I'm O.K. when more savvy users say it is buggy on Mac OS X. 

And we need a bit of marketing talk. 

So with the eyes of a Mac OS X user the M109 is as close as it gets 
for a first milestone that can be found by a wider range of 
testers. To take care Stefan also published my German Readme for 
the Milestone and we are working on a translation. All the known 
limitations are documented. The problem is that people do not 
really read them :-)
